AS Roma was the first Italian club to arrive in Australia after World War II. Spectators filled the grounds, encroaching to the very touchlines, while others clambered to vantage points such as the roof of the grandstand and nearby trees.
In 1966, over 130,000 people went to see Roma play club sides from Australia, as well as the national team. The Australian and the Age newspapers had several columns devoted to the visit by the Serie A club and tour companies and sponsors supported the encounters with advertisements.
This design is a tribute to i Giallorossi.
