German-born Thomas Broich is arguably the most creative player to have ever played in Australia's A-League. Broich won the Grand Final three times, collected two premierships, two Johnny Warren Medals (A-League's best player), two Gary Wilkins Medals (club's best player) and the Joe Marston Medal (player of the Grand Final) - all at Brisbane Roar.
He retired in 2017, after spending seven seasons in the A-League and made more than 180 appearances for the Roar. As far as seeing space, picking a pass and assisting a goal, he was pure class.
This design represents Broich in the Roar's brilliant orange with his famous scruffy hair - the ball, always on his mind. The lion overlay signifies his loyalty to one Australian club.
